Work Permit
The demand for both categories of workers in Canada – temporary and permanent – is ever-increasing, across various business and industrial sectors. Both categories require valid authorization. The administrative body Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has a scheme permitting all foreign employees to remain involved in a registered occupation in the country for a stipulated period of time. It is important to note that a work permit is not equivalent to an immigration paper. A work permit doesn’t let the worker to stay in Canada permanently. If you aim to reside in Canada permanently, it is crucial to qualify as a skilled worker under the regulations of Immigration Department of the country. Your documents would be most likely processed under the Skilled Worker Programme.
|It is also vital to keep in mind that your dependent adult children, spouse or common-law partner, can submit an application to get a work permit. The concerned person can study or work in Canada. The nature and requirements of the employment determines the duration of the permit. A person holding a work permit should apply for its renewal 30 days prior to its lapse.

Requirements for Applicants
- The job offer you get from a company active in Canada should have valid certification from the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). There are some exceptions. The task of LMIA is verifying whether a company in Canada is eligible to hire a foreign employee for a particular vacancy.
- You should make it clear that once your job term is over, you would leave Canada.
- It is mandatory to submit financial proofs that tell you and your family would comfortably sustain yourselves during your stay in the country.
- It is mandatory to follow every Canadian Law.
- Your police clearance certificate should be clean with not tainted history.
- You should present a medical report that tells about your sound health.
- You have to submit a declaration that you would not work for ineligible employers who are involved in escort business, erotic performance, or massager parlours.
